Senior Designer


Harman International is a global leader in connected car technology, lifestyle audio innovations, professional audio and lighting solutions, and design and analytics.


When I started at Harman International in 2012, they had just released a new line of exciting home audio products including the Harman Kardon BDS home entertainment system and JBL Flip (one of the first portable Bluetooth speakers on the market).


At the time, our business objectives were to increase overall GMV for our new products by building engaging/user-friendly websites and creating exciting national advertising campaigns. As Senior Designer, I brought unique design solutions to life which adhered to the marketing strategies and business goals at Harman International.


While at Harman International, I managed teams in all phases of development, design, and production of sales-driving, brand-extending marketing creative campaigns. I was also responsible for designing all websites, email marketing, web ads, print ads, product launches, brochures, advertorials, and product packaging for Harman Kardon, JBL, AKG, and Infinity brands.


Some of the more important consumer-facing projects I worked on at Harman International include the design of the new Harman Kardon and JBL websites, redesign of all marketing emails (improving CTR by 10% and growing GMV by 20%), as well as the creation of a national advertising campaign for the JBL Flip.
